She was a member of Baptist Church and had lived in San Antonio, for the last 12 years. Survivors: Husband: Melvin Stewert, daughters Charlotte, and Jane Alexander, both of San Antonio, parents, Mr and Mrs. A.B. Chambers,of Abilene, Tx, brothers, Mr. Weldon, of Odessa,Tx. and Mr. Othel Chambers of Slaton, Tx: sisters, Mrs Asa Walker and Miss Bessie Chambers of of Abilene, Tx, and Mrs Bonnie Boyd of Denver City, Tx. Funeral services will be be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Akers Chapel. Interment will be in the Mission Burial Park.
