Mrs. Augusta Blessing
Mrs. Augusta Blessing, 87, of 7145 N. Polk Ave., died Thursday in a local nursing home.
A native of Saunders County, Neb., she had lived in Portland since 1911. She was an honorary member of the Kansas Club for 30 years.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bergs St. Johns funeral home. Vault entombment will be at Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
Survivors are a son, George M. Blessing of Portland; daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Stevens Koonce of Portland; sister, Mrs. Esther V. Wells of Wahoo, Neb., and five grandchildren.
