Ryan Lawrence Aaron was born on March 18, 1966 at Sara Mayo Hospital in New Orleans, LA as the first born of the union of Veronica Johnson Aaron and the late Ronald Lawrence Aaron. Ryan was baptized at St. David Catholic Church at an early age. He received his early education from Holy Redeemer School and graduated from the prestigious St. Augustine High School on May 16, 1984.

Upon graduation, Ryan worked at D.H. Holmes and took broadcasting classes at USL (which is now Southeastern Louisiana University) before enlisting in the United States Army in 1986. He was stationed in Germany and Fort Belvoir, Virginia until being honorably discharged in 1990. Soon after, he became employed with United Airlines, in Sterling, Virginia and Rochester, NY until his return to his hometown in 1997. Once back in New Orleans, he worked for Cox Communications, Johnny Clark Hyundai, Toyota of New Orleans and Vanguard Airlines until he decided to settle into the Hospitality Industry as a commercial driver with A Confidential Transportation Company until Hurricane Katrina relocated him to Houston, TX in 2005. From there, he continued on as a commercial driver, first with Coach USA and eventually with the Harris County Department of Transportation in their Senior Citizen program, which he enjoyed going to different locations throughout the state until the brain aneurysm Ryan suffered in 2014 forced him to step down and retire from the position.

In 1998, Ryan rededicated his life to Christ when he joined and later was baptized at Beacon Light Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Darryl S. Brister. While there, he met Anita Ann Duronslet and was later married on December 23, 2000. From their union, two beautiful daughters were born: Ciara Chante', on September 17, 1999 and Rhonda LaShawn, on May 15, 2003.

Once he set his roots in Houston, Ryan attended and became a member of Real Joy Family Fellowship and eventually found his church home at Above & Beyond Fellowship, under the leadership of Pastor William Lindsey.

Ryan was an avid artist in freehand art, photography and graphic design, in which a few of his designs were displayed at the bookstore of his alma mater, St. Aug and on quite a few shirts that he would wear. Besides being all things St. Aug (you know he wore that logo proudly), he loved his Saints, the food, music and culture of his hometown, was a self-proclaimed "dominologist" but overall loved anyone he came in contact with, especially his family. Ryan made sure to leave his presence with everyone he came in contact with, whether it was cracking a joke, giving out words of wisdom and/or encouragement, dancing or just saying "what's happenin'", he would let you know that he is "One of Them."

Ryan was called home on Sunday, November 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Aaron; his grandparents, Dee Etta B. Aaron & Oliver Aaron Sr., Emily Johnson and Lucille H. Johnson & Nelson Johnson Jr.; his mother- and father-in-law, Eloise & Richard Gainey; his nephew, Koure R. Aaron-Tate; 2 aunts, 4 uncles and his best friend of over 40 years, Keith Thomas Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy: his loving wife, Anita D. Aaron; precious daughters, Ciara C. Aaron & Rhonda L. Aaron; doting mother, Veronica J. Aaron; 2 brothers, Steven R. Aaron Sr. (wife, Robin) & Kendall A. Aaron Sr.; 1 sister, Renell L. Aaron (fiancé, Kourtney Tate); 1 brother-in-law, Michael Duronslet (wife, Revlon); 1 sister-in-law, Jeri Duronslet (partner, Gary Jennings); 4 nieces, Alexis Winston, India Aguillard, Laila Aaron & Soleil Austin; 6 nephews, Steven Aaron Jr., Ryan G. Aaron, Kendall Aaron Jr., Doreain Aaron & Giovanni Jennings; aunts: Evelyn Johnson, Gloria Harris,
