Mary Jo Ellsworth, 84, of Anderson, passed away on December 8, 2020, at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1936, in Anderson, where she resided all of her life.

She retired as a School Bus Driver for Anderson Community Schools after 23 years of service.

She was a member of The First Pentecostal Church of Anderson. She liked working puzzles, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Most of all, she loved serving the Lord.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband, Gwynfor Wayne Ellsworth; children, Chena Ellsworth, Allen (Shelly) Ellsworth; grandchildren, Stefanie (Rob) Harper, Scott (April) Smith, Elvis P. (Crystal) Jones, Mary Ellsworth, Abigail Ellsworth, Olivia Ellsworth; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Kay Jones; grandson, Charles M.W. Jones; parents, Victor & Thelma Driggers; and her sister, Emma Lou Driggers.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be private family services that can be viewed at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 11, 2020 on the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory YouTube page.

Private burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank or The Salvation Army.
