Linda Adlis, 82, of Argyle, MN, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home at the Marshall County Group Home.

Linda Lou was born on March 12, 1938 in Strandquist, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Elphie (Hegstrom) Adlis. She lived with her family on the family farm near Strandquist until moving to Faribault, MN. In February of 1977, Linda moved to the Marshall County Group Home in Argyle. She worked and participated in the Leisure Program at the Marshall County DAC/ODC.

Linda was a kind person and she often complimented others. She enjoyed her volunteer friends and always looked forward to their visits. Linda liked listening to Lawrence Welk, putting together puzzles and having a bit of candy. She crafted yarn hangers, weaved floor rugs on a loom, enjoyed baking with staff, sang familiar Bible songs during ODC Bible Study and was always ready for an outing to the Dairy Queen.

Left to mourn her passing are her siblings, Joyce (George) Wikstrom of Karlstad, MN, Stanley Adlis of Strandquist, MN, Betty (Michael) Johnson of Warroad, MN, Jan Hilton of Homestead, FL and Kim Kraft of Minot, ND; many nieces and nephews and her caregivers at the Group Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elphie and three brothers, Richard Adlis, Thomas Adlis and Larry Adlis.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Bethesda Cemetery by Strandquist, MN.
