Robert “Bob” McGray passed away on April 4th while wintering in Leesburg FL, surrounded by family.
Bob was born August 14, 1935 to Russell and Dorothy Cummings McGray. He served as a Marine in the Korean War and after his discharge, he became a carpenter with his Dad and remained a carpenter till his retirement.
He loved singing and did Karaoke at every opportunity, also loved to go fishing and playing "The dice game". He did beautiful wood carvings and has done many birds and animals.
He leaves behind his wife Janet and daughters Sandy Silver of Hull, MA, Coleen “Peanie” Connolly & husband Rick of Somerset, KY and Son Mike Smith of Sunapee, NH. Also grandchildren: Melissa Watson & husband Branden, Ryan Silver, Meghan Smith, Mykal Smith, Heather Connolly & Kyle Connolly; great granddaughters Taylor and Dana. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
He also leaves his brother John, nieces and nephews and his beloved boys, Grizz Bear and Rusty James. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Lee.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Newport, NH at a later date.
