Edwin Dewey Greene, 89, Lenoir, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
He was born November 7, 1931 in Caldwell County to the late Edwin Dewey Greene and Susie Luzenia Harmon.
He graduated Happy Valley High School in 1949, attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, was in the Air Force and later retired from work as an accountant.
He was a well-known resource for genealogy research.
Survivors include numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
