Marion Adele Stewart, age 88, of Palmyra Road, Albany, GA., formerly of Cedartown passed away Thursday, December 17, 1998. Mrs. Stewart was born January 4, 1910 in Bibb County and was a retired LPN with Augusta Leisure Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Stewart; and parents, Sarah Jeanette Collins and Charles Sampson Collins. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Wood of Cedartown; a son, J. D. Edward Stewart of Cedartown, GA. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 19, 1998 from the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Pastor Winston Baldwin officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers included Bobby Wood, Donnie Wood, Rudy Wood, Bennie Ray Wood, Jerry Longino and Jessie Clements. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
