Born June 12, 1930, in Essex, MO, to the late Oscar and Ella Thorne Woods, she was a homemaker and a member of Blythwood Seventh Day Adventist Church in Blythwood, SC. She married William D. Allen in Dexter, MO, in the year 1950, and he preceded her in death in December of 1973.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
A private family service will be conducted at a later date, with Nunnelee Funeral Chapel of Sikeston, MO, in charge of arrangements.
