Clifford G. Sinnett, 78, of Parkersburg died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Worthington Manor.
He was born in Stillwater, Ohio, a son of the late George and Eva Buck Sinnett. He retired from Union Carbide and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a very active member of the church board, was an usher and on the counting committee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby J. Chute Sinnett, who he married Jan. 25, 1947; three sons, Lloyd Wayne Sinnett and his wife, Judith, of Washington, W.Va., James C. Sinnett of Wyoming and Dwayne C. Sinnett and his wife, Linda, of Wyoming; two brothers, Raymond Sinnett and Robert Sinnett, both of Ohio; a sister, Virginia Bandfield of Ohio; and nine grandchildren, Christy and Sean Rice and their children, Ryan, Joey and Levi, all of Parkersburg, Julie and Eric Franklin and their daughter, Olivia, of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Sinnett of Washington, W.Va., Jim and Stephanie Sinnett of Wyoming, Jennifer and Brandon Robison and their children, Zoey and Brad, of Wyoming, Vicki and Steven Rech of Wyoming, Kimberly Sinnett of Wyoming, Felicia and Mike Smith and their children, Morgan, Kalix, Ali, Logan, Arron and Sean, all of Wyoming, and Josh and Robin Sinnett and their children, Hope and Sierra, all of Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Eugene Sinnett; and a daughter, Beverly Ann Sinnett.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial will be at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
