DETROIT - Domanic Steven Gary Boyd, 3-1/2 month old son of Shylah (Bishop) McGraw and William G. Boyd, died Oct 6, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born prematurely June 21, 2006, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was a fighter but just couldn't overcome his early birth. He was loved very much by his whole family. He is survived by his parents of Detroit; maternal grandmother, Bobbett Bishop of Detroit; paternal grandmother, Sandra Boyd of Boston; paternal grandfather, Willie Howard of Boston; maternal great-grandparents, Herb and Betty Herbest of Hermon; paternal great-grandmother, Fannie Howard of Boston; two brothers, Quenton Boyd and William G. Boyd, both of Boston; four sisters, Shyann McGraw of Wiscasset, Lillian Boyd-Mullen of Portland, Riley Perry of South Portland and Amyea Hodgkins of Old Orchard Beach; his godparents, Edgardo and Kimberly Rivera of Bangor; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased Aug. 29, 2006, by his grandfather, Steven Duke. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Oct 13, at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service Center, 34 High St., Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating.
