Memorial services for David Gilbert Abrahamson, Sr., 66, of Lugoff, SC, formerly of Cape Cod, Massachusetts will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Rev. Mr. Abrahamson died Saturday, December 30, 2006. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Alfred and Elsie Dahl Abrahamson. Mr. Abrahamson was a retired state employee from Massachusetts and was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and a long time member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He worked many years in manufacturing and building maintenance. He had a passion for life and has touched many people.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Carver Abrahamson; children: Lisa Abrahamson of Bradenton, FL, David Abrahamson, Jr. of Barnstable, Mass., step-children, Kevin Silver & his wife, Rhonda of Charlotte, NC, Wendy Katz & her husband, Sheldon of Webster, Mass, Marsha Livingston and her husband, Gregory of Valdez, Alaska, Michael Silver & his wife, Deborah of Deering, N.H., Rebecca Silver-Aunes & her husband, Scott of Fort Mill, SC; 7 grandchildren.
Mr. Abrahamson was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Abrahamson.
