He was a press operator at Atlantis Plastics.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doris Higdon, who died in 1986.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Higdon of Dixon; one son, James Nelson Higdon of Henderson; one half-sister, Candy Yates of Dixon; and three half-brothers, Coy Higdon, Craig Higdon and Chris Higdon, all of Slaughters.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
There will no visitation.
