She was born Oct. 22, 1904, in Elson, Mo., the daughter of Sherman and Laura Ellen Coffman Roark.
Mrs. Boyle owned and operated a cafe on Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, from 1938 to 1948, and then owned and operated Opal's Cafe in Lawrence from 1948 until she retired in 1971.
She was married to Harry J. Boyle, who died Nov. 5, 1972.
Survivors include two sons, Danny S. Boyle Sr. and Patrick R. Boyle, both of Kansas City; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
