Dennis Charles Harlan McKinney, age 46, husband of Melissa Nicole McKinney passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Saint Joseph Berea. He was born December 24, 1974, in Berea, KY to Ethel Marie Bradley McKinney and the late Dennis McKinney. He was employed by Challenge Manufacturing formerly Gill, in Richmond, KY. Dennis loved playing with his children and spending time with his family, he also enjoyed mechanic work, 4X4 mud runs for which he won many trophies, and was an avid gun enthusiast. Dennis was of the Holiness faith and a member of the Boonesboro Holiness Church.
Other than his wife Melissa, and his mother Ethel he is survived by two children, Lydia Grace and Andrew Harlen McKinney, two sisters, Aileen Metcalf and her husband Charlie, and Cathy Robertson and her husband Roger all of Berea, KY. A host of other family and friends survive.
Visitation will be 6-9 PM Sunday, July 18th, 2021, at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with funeral services on Monday, July 19th, 2021, at 12:00 Noon also at the funeral home, Bro.
