Son of Jesse Joseph Seabaugh ( Memorial No. 60525421 ) and Nancy Jo (Harmon) Seabaugh. Record states Robert was buried in the Holt Cemetery in Bollinger Co. Mo. Unable to verify this information.
Robert was murdered in Bollinger Co. per the State of Missouri and Bollinger Co. death records on line. Also see pages 712 and 739 of the Otto Seabaugh book on the Seabaugh families.
This murder was reported on in the book "Bollinger County Missouri Murders 1855 - 1955" by Sue Stanfill - Book is available from the Bollinger Co. Archives in Marble Hill, Mo.
A named suspect, a Jacob Killian, was charged with murder but the case was later dismissed (in March 1887) for lack of prosecution.
