Rosie V. Ward, 95, Neodesha, KS. formerly of Goodman, MO., died at 11:40 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 in Neodesha, following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1912 in Green Forest, Ark., to Ellis Gilbert Coatney and Gertie Belle (Watkins) Coatney.
Mrs. Ward was a homemaker and a member of Splitlog Baptist Church in Goodman. She moved to Neodesha in 1995.
Rosie married Loren Ward July 10, 1975. He preceded her in death Oct. 14, 1987.
She is survived by a daughter, Marie (Looney) Dunsworth, Hutchinson, Kan.; a sister, Daisy Wallace, Camden, Del.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at Banner Cemetery, Splitlog.
