CLOSE, Alberta J. - Formerly of Pinckney, age 65, died Monday, March 5, 1990 at St. Joseph Hospital, Flint. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, March 9, 1990 at the Bowles-Sharp Funeral Home, Linden, Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receirve friends at the funeral home in Linden 1-9 PM Wednesday and Thursday. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to they Pinckney O.E.S. Chapter; #145 or the Linden Presbyterian Church; envelopes available at the funeral home. Mrs. Close was born in Howell, Michigan February 16, 1925, the daughter, of Albert Dinkel and Kitsy Allison. She married William F. Close in Howell on June 27, 1953. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star Chapter #145 for 46 years. She was a member of Rainbow Girls, past Worthy Matron, Grand Committee Woman 1953-1954, Weckler Coy Grand Family 1953-1954, President of County Association O.E.S. 1983. She retired as Assistant Register of Deeds in Howell after 18 years of service. Surviving are husband W.F. Close; twin brother, Alan and wife Audrey Dinkel of Howell; brother Gerald and wife June Dinkel of Detour, Ml; many nieces and nephews. BOWLES-SHARP HOME
