Richard Leslie "Rick" Ackerson, age 67, of Alexandria, KY passed away on November 26, 2021. He was born September 18, 1954, in Dayton, Kentucky, a son of the late Melvin and Shirley Miller Ackerson. He was a Kentucky Colonel and an antique car enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Paula Ackerson; a sister, Linda Fox; and two brothers, Jimmy "Chata" Ackerson and Jeff Ackerson. He is survived by: a son, Ricky Ackerson; and 10 brothers, Drew Ackerson, Melvin Ackerson, Ed Ackerson, Mike Ackerson, Rob Ackerson, Dan Ackerson, Tom Ackerson, Joe Ackerson, Steve Ackerson and Dave Ackerson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will begin at 8:00 p.m. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
