Chester W. Aikman, age 88, of Waldron, formerly of Bluffton, died Thursday, October 16, 1975 in a Waldron Nursing Home. He was a native of Bluffton, the son of the late William and Mary Barmore Aikman, a World War I Veteran and a retired Civil Service Employee.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Jones of Waldron and Mrs. Ada Davis of Dumas; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were Saturday, October 18, at the Bluffton Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Savage officiating, with burial at the Bluffton Cemetery. Arrangements and services were in care of the Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville.
