Oma D. Hilderbrand, 93, of West Union, formerly of Monroe Township, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union. She was born October 10, 1914 at Trinity, Ky and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Reta (Kennedy) Prather.
Oma was an employee of the former Hercules Trouser Company in Manchester.
She is survived by one son, Samuel R. Hilderbrand of Monroe Township; one daughter, Edna E. Shumate of Manchester; one sister, Ruth Bayless of California, Ky; three daughters-in-law, Reva Hilderbrand, Joanne Hilberbrand and Marilyn Hilderbrand; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
