R. Scott Gerrard, 49, passed away Dec. 21, 2007. He was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Salt Lake City, and resided in Las Vegas for 22 years. He was known world wide for his fuel injection service. The Boy Scouts of America was a big part of his life for 37 years. Survived by his wife, of 30 years, Donna; daughter, Shauna (Dean) Danchak; sons, Brian, Guy and Jesse (Ramiza) of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren, Becky, Brandon, Jacob and Ethan; mother, Shirley Gerrard Olsen; sisters, Marie McRae, Pam Nordgren, Laura Lee and brother, David Gerrard. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Viewing will be 9-10 a.m. Dec. 27. Services will follow at 10 a.m. in the LDS Silver Stone Ward Building, 8525 N. Thorn Blvd. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Logandale Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
