Everyone who knew David, knew that he would rather be fishing. He was an avid fisherman and spent summer vacations fishing at Rice Lake in Canada for over 60 years. David also greatly enjoyed gospel and country music, visiting with family and friends, history, vintage cars and bird watching.
David was a member of Longenecker Evangelical Anabaptist Fellowship (formerly Longenecker Mennonite Church) for over 50 years. He was a faithful and dependable husband, father, church member, friend and worker.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by children, 4 children, 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3sisters,a brother, and brother-in-law.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Iva Yoder; 2 grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
