On Thursday, January 27th, Karen Hudson Adams passed from this life to join her eternal Savior in Heaven.

Memorial services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Greenville Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Porter and Rev. Casey Harp officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Born in 1950, she was the daughter of D.W. "Jack" Hudson and Kathleen Kelley Hudson, loving sister to Denise Hudson and Bruce Hudson, devoted wife of Terry Adams, and adoring mother to Dan Adams and Keri Adams Williams. She was also loved by Dan's wife Gwen and Keri's husband Brad. Some of the greatest joys of her life came from being grandmother - "Meemama" - to her five grandchildren: Braden Adams, Connor Adams, Grace Adams, Huck Williams and Emmie Kate Williams. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and West Georgia College. Marrying Terry in May of 1972, they built a home together where they raised their two children and shared a beautiful life for almost 50 years.

Karen dedicated her professional life to teaching school for more than 35 years - mostly at Flint River Academy in Woodbury, GA. As an educator, she made a difference in the lives of hundreds of young people - teaching them not only book lessons, but life lessons.

She was an active member of Greenville Baptist Church, the Marie Gilbert Mack Sunday School Class, and taught Bible Drill to several generations of students. Karen was blessed with a group of tight-knit, lifelong friends that she had known since childhood growing up in Greenville, GA - and she cherished her time with them.

Above all, she was guided in every aspect of her life by her faith in God, and we celebrate that she is now with Him. Her family is comforted by the knowledge that she was greeted in Heaven by her beloved grandmother "Miss Kelley", her daddy Jack, her mother Kathleen, her sister Denise, and her Aunt Dovie Head. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.

The Adams Family is being assisted by Cox Funeral Home of Manchester, Georgia.
