Laurie was my first dog. She was a Toy Boston Bull Terrier that my 2nd cousin Dorothy Carman Micozzi bought me for Christmas the year I was 5. She was the most active, nutty and loyal dog. She had her time with me and when I married and moved out she became devoted to my sister. She loved to herd big balls all over the yard using her chest to propell them. She could run like that for hours and even had a heat stroke because she was too stubborn to go and lay in the shade. We all missed her very much when she died at 14.
