Jonny Lee Collins , 71, of Clear Creek, WV passed away peacefully from a long illness battling with Alzheimer's while holding his sister Donna Williams hand on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born May 25, 1949 in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Dana and Enola Underwood Collins.

Jonny was a retired coal miner, in his spare time he loved to hunt, fish, garden, ginseng, and cutting wood you could classify him as a all around outdoorsman, and was a faithful member of the Spruce Tabernacle Church..

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Crowder Collins; brothers, Jimmy, Jackie, Joe, Junior Collins, Dewey Underwood.

Those left to cherish his memory include children, Faye Bonds (Jerry), Jonny Collins, and Ira Collins; grandchildren, Dana "Junior Collins", Eli Collins, Isabell Collins, and Bella Collins; a daughter in law, Christy Collins; brother, Jerry Collins; sisters, Donna Williams who was Jonny's caregiver of 2 years, Mary Williams, Ada Mullens, Julie Walker, Nellie Scarbro, Mazie Cantley, and Goldie Brado.

Services will be 2:00 PM on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Workman's Creek United Methodist Church in Clear Creek. with Pastor Benjamin McCoy and Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Cremation will follow after the service.
