  Born July 12, 1915, Wichita, Kansas to Edward Daniel and Sidney Ola Campbell Holmes. Married Doris Catt, February 16, 1935, Wichita, Kansas. She died August 17, 1985. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Prominent Home Builder and Developer for the past 50 years.
  Survivors: sons and daughters, John Edward, Midvale; Michael Harvey, Sandy; Mrs. Janice Hubbard, Kearns; Mrs. Daniel (Ola) Ewing, Mrs. C. Brent (Ann) Lund, both Salt Lake City; 27 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, James C. Holmes, Mesa, Arizona; sisters, Mrs. Estelle (Bess) Bazzelle, Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Elvin (Alice) Coon, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by a daughter, Nedra Sue.
  Funeral services Thursday 11:00 a.m. Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
