Born in Holmes County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Emery J. Hochstetler and Nettie W. Hochstetler. She was also predeceased by her husband, John W. Keffer; children, Eric Keffer and Annie Curling. Mrs. Keffer was a devout member of Providence Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her children, Alan Keffer (Kelly), Dale Keffer (Shirley), Gary Keffer (Kim), Sissy Keffer, Marilyn Keffer, Neady Harris (Rick), Lynn Keffer (Debbie) and Kissy Webb; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, Chesapeake. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
