Sara was the daughter of Major Benjamin White and Ruth Rodney (King) Norris. She attended Chatham College in Pittsburgh where she studied English literature. Sara lived in England for a number of years and worked in real estate and personnel management. She married Linwood "Glen" Arthur McDonald on 3 Sep 1986. When he became ill, Sara cared for his until he died in January of 1996. She had a strong spirituality, which helped her through her last illness (cancer), and she was a remarkable example to all who were close to her. Private interment will be at a later date.
