Flora King Perkins, homemaker

Flora King Perkins, 66, of Williamstown, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Williamstown.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Perkins; sons, Jeff Perkins of Taylor Mill and Tom Perkins of Williamstown; brothers, Jack King of Alexandria and Robert King of Covington; sisters, Pansy Harris of Owenton, Dorothy Sheriff of Williamstown, and Georgie Work of Falmouth; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Williamstown.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017.

WILLIAMSTOWN – Flora King Perkins, 66, died of cancer Friday Jan. 18 at St. Luke Hospital, Florence.

She graduated from Grant County High School, was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Williamstown and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Perkins; sons, Jeff and Tom Perkins; sisters, Pansy Harris, Dorothy Sheriff and Georgie Work; brothers, Jack and Robert King; and three grandsons.

Visitation will be 10-2 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 22 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with services following. Burial will be in Mt. Caramel Cemetery, Williamstown.

Flora King Perkins, 66, of Williamstown died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence.

She was born in Grant County, a daughter of the late George Kirtley and Thelma C. Hunt King.

She was a homemaker, a Grant County High School graduate and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Williamstown.

Two sisters, Joyce Works and Nellie Work, preceded her in death, as well as two brothers, Joe King and Newton King.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Frank Perkins; sons, Jeff Perkins of Taylor Mill and Tom Perkins of Williamstown; brothers, Jack King of Alexandria and Robert King of Covington; sisters, Pansy Harris of Owenton, Dorothy Sheriff of Williamstown and Georgie Work of Falmouth; and three grandsons.

Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown with Brother David Wolfe officiating.

Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Williamstown.
