Charles Richard Robinson, age 59 years, of Pikeville, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Prestonsburg as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born in Pikeville, KY on January 17, 1952, the son of the late Ronnie Utah Robinson and Eula Mae Ferrell Robinson.

He was a retired coal truck driver and was known to many by his CB handle, Dog Fork Bear, or simply, Bear.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by:
a son, Dickie Lee Robinson (1974-2004)
a sister, Linda Kay Robinson (1951-1951)
a brother Ronnie Robinson (1958-1961; twin brother to Donnie Robinson)

He is survived by:
a son, Charles Randall Robinson
a daughter, Crystal Dawn Robinson
a very special son, Emmit Lee Murphy
5 brothers: William Blake Robinson, Andrew Jackson Robinson, Donnie Robinson, Freddie Dean Robinson, & Samuel Lee Robinson
a sister, Gladys Marie Hicks (Joey)
a grandson, Randall Blake Robinson
2 special granddaughters, Lacretia Murphy & Anita Murphy

The funeral was held on Saturday, April 9, at Lucas & Son Funeral Home, with minister Frankie Bryant officiating. Burial followed in the Robinson Family Cemetery, Dog Fork Road in Pikeville, KY.

Charles was only married 1 time. Her name was Jessica Noretta Elliott (1954-2018). They were married in November 1971 in Pikeville, KY, and were divorced in October 1975 in Pikeville, KY.

He lived with 2 other women for 10+ years each, never marrying either nor did he father children with them. However, he did raise the son of the first woman as his own child.
