9 yr old Keven had Drown in the ocean.as he was swimming he got caught in a Riptide. july 19 2022 .but He was put on life support with irreversible brain damage. Was taken off life support thurs. July 20 2022. He is one of Five children in his family.he has a 11 yr old brother Clayton. He was pulled from the waters at Easton's Beach. Died at Hasbro Children's Hospital.Somerset— Keven Max Arruda 9 years old passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Hasbro Children's Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the son of Dennis J. and Bethany L. (Souza) Arruda of Somerset. Keven was a student and was entering the fourth grade at the North Elementary School in Somerset. He was full of life, love to draw, sketch people and characters. Keven was a selfless caring young man who put others first including his siblings who adored him. He was unique in a way where he could play dolls with his sister one minute and the next be in a full wrestling match with his brother. He loved sloths, dogs, a good piece of candy and his favorite movie Titanic. Keven had a unique interest in movies it was either a horror movie or a love story.
Survivors besides his parents are his siblings: Clayton Arruda of Somerset; Kaylee Jo Arruda of Somerset; Aylssa Arruda of Providence; D.J. Arruda of Portsmouth; Olivia Arruda of Bristol; maternal grandparents: Brenda Siipola of Somerset and Keven Heald of Florida; paternal grandmother: Ramone Letourneau of Swansea and the late Dennis Arruda; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
