Martha was a native of Lake Providence, Louisiana where she grew up on Panola Plantation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Providence and presently a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a Licensed Practicing Counselor. She was a devoted mother and friend. She was an accomplished cook and gardener. She was an avid tennis fan and a gifted conversationalist. She loved her dog, Sugah.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Wilson II; and her parents, William Denis Brown and Martha Wyly Brown.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Grady D. and Lauren Wilson of Shreveport, Louisiana; daughter, Katherine Wilson of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Clelie and Rev. Henry R. Stone of Kenner, Louisiana;

granddaughter, Rebecca Wilson; granddaughter, Sara Wilson; grandson, Cotter Wilson; granddaughter, Zoe Stone; granddaughter, Abigail Marie Hoglund; grandson, James Grady Wilson.

She is also survived by brothers, William Denis Brown of Monroe; Grady W. Brown of Lake Providence; and Philip B. Brown of Lake Providence.
