Mrs. Nina Geisler, age 85, enter this life on January 24, 1937 in Madison, Indiana as a blessing to the home of her parents Raymond Leap and Alice Dowell Leap. She was raised and resided in Jefferson County all of her life and attended Dupont High School where she graduated in 1954. Shortly after in 1955, Nina was united in marriage to Carroll Geisler at the Wirt Baptist Church, and the couple were blessed to raise three children, Monty, Mark, and Robin. She diligently served her entire career at Grote Manufacturing working in production, and she also served as the president of the union there for several years. She enjoyed time with her family, and had a particular delight in attending the area BINGO games. Nina died on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 6:25 a.m. at the Hickory Creek of Madison in Madison, Indiana.
A LOVING FAMILY
Nina will be missed by her loving sons , Monty Geisler and his wife Anita of Hanover, Indiana and Mark Geisler and his wife Cynthia of Madison, Indiana; her daughter, Robin Thomas and her husband Don of Lovett, Indiana; her grandchildren, Steven Geisler (Dena), Angela Chandler, Justin Geisler, Whitney Skinner (Larry), Robbie Thomas, and Deanna Vincent; her great grandchildren, Willow Chandler, Jackson Geisler, Addison Sheets, Lincoln Sheets, Kennedy Sheets, Jameson Sheets, and Natalie Vincent; her brother, Graham Leap of Scottsburg, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Leap, her mother, Alice Dowell Leap, her husband, Carroll Geisler, her brother, Bill Leap, and her sister, Selma Leap Fisher.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
