Mary Choate, 91 passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Caldwell Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1931 in Trigg County to the late Terry and Nellie Mae Kirby Boyd. She was a member of Northside Baptist church and retired after working over 30 years as a ward clerk at the Caldwell County Hospital. She was an avid UK sports fan and crafter, gifted in quilting, crocheting and sewing. Mary was a wonderful cook, her home cooked meals were very much enjoyed by all. She was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, George Harvey Choate; daughters, C.K. (Gene) DiBaggio of Cleveland, OH and Pam (Mike) Williamson of Trigg County; grandchildren, Jeremie (Liane') Mitchell, Laura (Ted) Hoffman and Erin Thomas; great grandchildren, Austin Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Teddy Hoffman, Kae'Lynn Mitchell, Bre'Lynn Mitchell, Alexis Hoffman, Adeline Thomas, Bryleigh Mitchell and Mirabella Mitchell; great great grandchild, Laiah Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Christine Crisp, Dorothy Wilcox and Lucy Cain.
Graveside services will be held, Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at Princeton Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
