Born in Milford Twp., Bucks County on October 31, 1929 he was a son of the late Charles F. and Elsie E. (Knott) Henze.
Leroy was married to the former Ada V. Klotz. She died December 11, 2013.
He was employed at Piper Aircraft, Hammermill Paper and was a Grugan Twp. Supervisor.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He served from April 4, 1951 – April 3, 1953. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Leroy enjoyed hunting, polka and gardening. He was a member of the Kettle Creek-Tamarack Sportsmen's Association.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Nace and Ethel Hoff.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven on Thursday, Oct., 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mahlon Nevel officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Helt Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Rest Haven.
