Marsha Irene Lyons Blevins, age 57, of Grayson, Kentucky met the one who saved her soul on Thursday, October 20, 2022 surrounded by those who loved her so dearly.
Marsha was born on May 5, 1965 to the late Granvil Lyons and Ruby Burnett. She held many jobs and many titles throughout her life but, the titles she held most dear were, Child of the King, Baby Doll, Mom, Mammy and Sis. She loved her Father in Heaven and her family above all and was a true encouragement to all those who met her. She leaves behind a beautiful testimony that she's only gone from our sight for a short while, and those who accept the risen Savior will be with her again.
She was preceded in death by her father, Granvil Lyons, who no doubt greeted her with open arms when she walked through the gates of Heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 39 years, Darren Blevins; her adoring mother and stepfather, Ruby and Steve Burnett; her son, Dereck (Sabrina) Blevins; her daughter, Larissa Blevins; two grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Brandi Chambers and Rylie Blevins; her beloved sister, Melissa (Edsel) Carty and host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky, 41143 with Brother Adam Bush and Brother Tim Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Cribbs Hill Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2022 and after 10 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Cory Blevins, Doug Knipp, Ernest "Bub" McDavid, Jamie Fraley, Jeremiah Shearer and Joe Lyon will serve as pallbearers.
