Anna Sue Kidd Akers, age 78 of Dana, KY, wife of Carlos Dean Akers, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1944 in Dana, KY, a daughter of the late Elder Dennis Kidd and Alpha Akers Kidd. She was a member of the Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter; Jennifer Ann (Terry) Tackett and one son; Carlos Devon (Vanessa) Akers, two brothers; Danny Ray (Barb) Kidd and Bill (Lisa) Kidd, five sisters; Joann Watson, Jan Akers, Janet Kaye (Keith) Akers, Carol (Greg) Akers and Pauletta (Edgar) Hughes, four grandchildren; Kayla Devone (Nathan) Clark, Wesley Devon (Jill) Akers, Stephen Casey (Cara) Tackett and Megan Brooke Akers, four great grandchildren; Wesley Tate Akers, Staley Anna Devone Clark, Rush Robbie Clark and Maren Jennifer Tackett.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Alley Cemetery, Branhams Creek, Grethel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with church service at 7 p.m., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
