Mary Lou Brown, 71, of rural Milton, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at home.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Troy Cemetery.
Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will be present 6-7:30 p.m.
Gifts to a memorial to be designated at a later time by the family may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 11075 Route J40, Milton 52570.
Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Glenn W. and Pauline Penrod Lewis. She married Donald J. Brown May 9, 1959, in Pulaski.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Bill Brown of Troy and Donita Benedict of Danville; two grandchildren; and one sister, Donna Lee of Douds.
