William E. Ellwanger
William E. Ellwanger, 85, of 306 Snowden Drive, died at 8 a.m. today at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington after a short illness.
He was a native of New Middletown, Ind., and a son of the late William P. Ellwanger, a retired officer of the U.S. marine Corps, a Veteran of World War I and World War II, and a Methadist.
Surviors include two sons, Edward E. Ellwanger, Clinton, Md., and William Blondin Ellwanger, Shelbyville; a sister Mrs. Spencer Bond, Shelbyville, and several nieces and nephews.
Sevices will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Otis Leon Greer. Followed by military services at the grave in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Edward, Charles, Fred, Danny, and Robbert Stone and Fred Bond.
Freinds may call at the funeral home 6-8 Thursday.
