Zachary Allen Cole, age 32, of Hilliard, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Doctor's West Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio to Gregory and Bonnie Spears Cole. He was a 2003 graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School and also had attended the ITT Tech School. He had been in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 12 years where he earned his Eagle's Badge. He was a member of the Hilliard Chess team, he was an avid historian enjoying the History Channel and was a World War II buff. Zach enjoyed helping others and even at his death, he helped over 50 people with his contribution. He loved making people smile and laugh. Zach is survived by his father, Gregory Cole of Westerville; and his mother, Bonnie Cole of Hilliard; sister, Hayley Cole; grandmother, Janice Spears; aunts and uncles, Carol Sue Tharpe of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Nancy L. (Keith) Downing of Circleville, Melanie J. (Bryan) Cockerill of Washington CH, Linda (Gary) Lowell of Bonita Spring, Florida, Jodi Hansen of Worthington, Gary Dale (Susan) Spears, Jeffrey W. (Nancy) Spears both of Washington CH, Mark J. (Cheryl) Spears of Canton, and Neil E. (Loree) Spears of Washington CH; as well as many cousins that Zach thoroughly enjoyed. Also surviving are his two precious pups, Buddy and Cocoa. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Sugar Grove Methodist Church, 4679 SR 41 SE, Washington CH, OH 43160 with John Pfeifer officiating. Friends may call at the SUMMERS FUNERAL HOME, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. A memorial account has been set up at Fifth Third Bank in Circleville to be used for Children's Ministries throughout Ohio on behalf of Zachary.
