Born in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County (which became Inglewood, California), Tricia's family planted roots in nearby El Segundo. There, Tricia attended school through her junior year in high school, when the family moved to Rancho Mirage in the Coachella Valley. She graduated from Palm Springs High School. At California State University Northridge, Tricia majored in Fine Art (drawing and design) but it wasn't until her return to the Coachella Valley in 1980 that she perfected her innate talent, and passion, for painting -- the talent she more than excelled in. She completely mastered the art form known as "Trompe L'oeil" [meaning fool-the-eye]. Tricia quickly built a successful business in the desert, with a large clientele. She called her art "wall painting" rather than murals, which were often very dramatic, like the 55-foot-long wall painting for a bank in Indio. She chose to paint mostly in private homes, but also painted beautiful custom canvases. In 1982, Tricia was prominently featured in Orange County Magazine and Orange County Home and Garden. In 2006, Tricia relocated both her home and business to the desert city of Kingman, AZ, where she continued her artistry by painting for some wonderful businesses. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, she is survived by her sister Barbara, who resides in the Coachella Valley, and by her nephew Jeffrey and his family, of San Marino, CA.
