Reavy was born to G.C. and Nola Brooks Aycox. A retired ordained minister, he lived in Ardmore the past 34 years and was a member of Southwest Pentecostal Church of God. He and Maudie Lorene Davidson were married on Sept. 5, 1939, in Haskell, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; a son, Kenneth; two brothers, William L. and Everett Aycox; and a sister, Gracie Carter. Survivors include four daughters, their spouses, two sisters, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
