Our heavenly Father called home his faithful servant, Lucinda Williams Addison on Friday, September 16, 2016. She was born July 12, 1932 in Lee County, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Brooks Williams, Sr. and Ida Mae Mack Williams and received her formal education in the Lee County public schools. At an early age she converted her life to God and attended both Mt. Beulah United Methodist Church and Kelly Bell United Methodist Church. At age fourteen, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland and worked as a waitress for four years. In 1948, she moved back to South Carolina and on August 7, 1948, she was united in holy matrimony to George Washington Addison and this union was blessed with 18 children, nine are still living. Lucinda loved her garden, working in her flowers, cooking, and taking care of her family. She also worked as a farmer for many years for Gilbert Saleeby. "Mommy Lue", loved the Lord and was a Christian in every sense of the Holy Word. She was a member of Liberty Christian Assembly Church for many years.
