She was born May 11, 1924 in Monroe County, KY to the late Herbert England and Pearl Brandon England. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on December 7, 1945 to Berlin Agers who preceded her in death on December 25, 1988.
She is survived by one son: Jerry Agers and wife Doris Ann of Fountain Run, one brother: Kenneth England and wife Betty of Lakeland, Florida, sister-in-law: Merlene England of Glasgow, three granddaughters: Leslie Marion and husband Max of Glasgow, Lindsay McCoy of Scottsville, Lauren Wiley and husband Timmy of Glasgow, and seven great grandchildren: Abby Meadows, Amelia Meadows, Kadin Marion, Gunner Marion, Eli McCoy, Ryan McCoy and Haley Wiley and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers: Earl, Bart, Paul, Clyde and Ray England and three sisters: Aline McGuire, Edith Gumm and Pauline Teeters.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 31 at 11:00 AM at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday and after 8:00 AM on Saturday at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel.
