Mrs. Patty Sue Barton, 86, of Bagwell died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at UT Hospital in Tyler.
Patty was born April 26, 1937 in Halesboro in Red River County. She was a graduate of Bogata High School in Bogata and married Henry Barton February 26, 1955 in DeKalb, Texas. Mrs. Barton was a long time resident of Bagwell and was a Methodist. She was proceeded in death by her husband Henry; her parents, Phillip Hobbs and Helen Fennell Williams, and brother Phillip Harold Hobbs.

Survivors include her son Bill Barton of Paris, Texas. Also, her sister Haletha Jones of Commerce, Texas and brother George Hobbs of Hunstville, Texas and 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Clarksville Funeral Home.

A Family conducted Memorial Service will be on Sunday, June 25th at 2:00 P.M. at the Double R Cowboy Church, 485 FM 1159, Clarksville, Tx. 75426.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Blanton Creek Cemetery, P. O. Box 66, Detroit, Tx. 75436 or Bagwell Community Center 5032 Farm Road 2573, Bagwell, Tx. 75412.
