Carter loved to hunt and play golf. He honorably served our country in the United States Air Force.
Carter was preceded in death by his parents Carter and Mary Stanley.
He is survived by his wife Susie Stanley, three children Carla Leggett (Shawn), Chase Stanley, and Amy Fissell, brother Bill Stanley (Joan), sister Doris Bradley (Ed), brother Bobby Stanley (Sue), and Jeanie Stanley Allinder (Davey), three grandchildren Bailey, Derek, and Emma, one great grandson Conner as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Rev. Gary French officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
