James L. Rountree, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Baxter B. Rountree, died Tuesday, (May 9) at a local hospital. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in North Thompson Baptist Church, near Vidalia with the Rev. H.T. Blount officiating and burial was in the North Thompson Cemetery with Murchison in charge of arrangements.
The child is survived by his parents, Baxter B. Rountree formerly of Wheeler County and Mrs. Lila Mae Wilkes Rountree formerly of Treutlen County; a sister, Madine and a brother, Bruce Rountree all of Vidalia, Rt. 2.
