Lillie Corene Adcock, 95 of Aubrey passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born April 13, 1912 in Denton County to George and Lena Gerlach Habern. She married Clarence Floyd Adcock on November 25, 1936 in Whitesboro, Texas. He preceded her in death. She was a resident of Aubrey for 63 years and was an active member of Green Valley Community Church where she served the Lord with her music. She has played the piano in church since she was 8 years old.
Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Green Valley Community Church with Rev. Bill LaBarr and Rev. Wendell Lillard officiating. Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda and husband Tom Leedy of Richardson; grandchildren, Diana and husband Jayson White of Sachse, Robert and Jennifer Leedy of Murphy; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Colton White, Jensen and Landon Leedy; and numerous nieces and nephew.
