Orrville -- Kathy (Kathleen) Suzanne Hess, 80, peacefully went home on September 10, 2023. She is the daughter of Dallas and Kathryn (Lehman) Hamsher of Orrville.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Hess; brother, Keith (Sharon) Hamsher; son, Scott (Cathy) Miller; granddaughter, Lauren (Jim) de Blank; grandson, Nathan (Ellie) Miller; and great-grandsons, Alexander James de Blank and Elliot Phillip Miller. She also left many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and an Aunt.
Kathleen was born on June 5, 1943. She graduated from Orrville High School in 1961 and attended Goshen College. She was employed for a time at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg and worked for Dr. Roy Miller as an LPN until her retirement.
She was a dear friend to many and will be remembered for her gentle, quiet and generous spirit. Let it be known that she always held fast. "Therefore since we have a high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the son of God, let us hold fast to the faith we profess." Hebrews 4:14
A celebration of life well lived will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 am, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7605 Pleasant Home Rd., Sterling, OH.
